Beginner guitar is offered in a private, one-one-one lesson setting with Justin Schroder.
Ages 8 – 12
Skills developed include knowledge of the rudiments of music, note and rest recognition, sight-playing, chords, solo performance, duet performance, accompaniment styles, alternate bass rhythm, recognition and performance of flat and sharp notes, and much more.
Ages 13 to adult
Older students learn an accelerated method developed by Justin Schroder. This method is a fast track for an age group that is ready to play modern songs. These students can often move directly to the Guitarchestra.
